WEEKLY CLASSES

Yoga for EVERYbody, Tues/Thurs 8:45am

This 60 minute yoga class is done in a "slow flow" style so that participants can get a deeper experience from each pose. Props such as yoga blocks, straps, and foam rollers are commonly used to help participants further improve the mobility of their tissues. Bring a mat, $10 per class or a 10 class punch card is available for $80.

There will be no classes on the following days: 8/13, 8/15, 8/20, 10/8, 11/12

Functional Strength Training, Thursdays 8:00am to 8:45am

This 45 minute strength training class is great for all levels. Work on your strength, balance, and agility using functional movements that work multiple muscle groups at one. $10 per class or purchase a 10 class punch card for $80.

There will be no classes on the following days: 8/15

Unlock your Hips and Glutes, Injury Prevention Series #1

Sunday, September 29th from 2:45 to 4:00pm

Learn how to unlock and activate your hips a glutes... a must for all endurance athletes and weekend warriors! This workshop will teach you how to stretch and strengthen the muscles of the pelvis and core to improve your form and prevent injuries from happening.

Fix your Feet, Injury Prevention Series #2

Sunday, November 3rd from 12:30 to 1:45pm

Did you know that many running injuries are caused from a weak foundation, your feet? In this workshop you will learn how to create a stronger foundation through mobility and strength exercises. We will also discuss training and footwear strategies for those interested in losing their dependence on arch supports and motion control shoes.

Quick and Easy Strength Training, Injury Prevention series #3

Sunday, December 8th from 2:45pm to 4:00pm

One thing that I have learned over the years is that endurance athletes hate strength training, even though they know it is essential for injury prevention. In this workshop, you will learn a basic 30 minute functional strength workout that you can do at home with minimal equipment.

Foam Rolling and Stretching Endurance Athletes at Fleet Feet Fox Valley:

7/28- 4:30pm to 5:30pm

8/25- 4:30pm to 5:30pm

9/29- 4:30pm to 5:30pm

Work out the kinks and prepare for an amazing season with a foam rolling and stretching class created for endurance athletes. Whether you are a runner, triathlete, cyclist, lifter, walker, or weekend warrior, this class is for you.
All equipment will be provided but bring a yoga mat if you have one.
Each class is $10. Fleet Feet Run Club members save $2 on their first class.
